Hello, my name is Ashley. And I'd love to help you.

I'm a licensed mental health counselor living just outside of Boston, MA with my partner and our two giant lap dog Great Danes (yes, they think they're lapdogs). When I'm not in the therapy room, you can usually find me curled up with a good book, making art, learning ASL or reflecting over a tarot reading. I'm a proud elder emo, so you'll often catch me at concerts reliving my favorite music moments.

Since starting in this field, I've worked with individuals in crisis, families, and students across different settings. But there's always been one common thread: people want to feel seen, heard, and truly connected. That's what I strive to create in every session.

This understanding of human connection actually stems from my previous career as a professional photographer, where I spent years capturing life's most meaningful moments through my lens. That background in visual storytelling taught me to see the beauty in vulnerability, find light in unexpected places, and understand that every person has a unique narrative worth honoring. The creative eye I developed behind the camera now helps me approach therapy with artistic sensitivity, seeing each client as a whole person with layers of complexity and inherent worth.

I believe creativity and self-expression are powerful tools for healing, and I love incorporating these elements into my therapeutic approach when appropriate. My artistic background has taught me that healing, like art, is rarely linear. It's messy, beautiful, and deeply personal. I bring this understanding into every therapeutic relationship, honoring your unique process and helping you discover the resilience and wisdom that's already within you.
